Where is the paint code on a Mazda?

Vehicle information label on the driver's door jamb. Two or three characters, for example 41V, 46V (Soul Red Crystal) or 25D (Snowflake White Pearl).

Step by step

  1. Open the driver's door and check the label on the B-pillar for the colour line.
  2. Older models carry the code on the VIN plate in the engine bay, on the firewall.

No label?

Labels fade or go missing after repairs. A Mazda dealer can read the original colour from the VIN, and the service booklet often lists it. If the car has been resprayed, have a painted part (the fuel filler flap is ideal) scanned at a paint shop.
